Nigeria won the world cup qualifier match 3:1 against Algeria at the Godswill Akpabio international stadium. Moses gave the leading start at the 25th minutes when he
shot past goalkeeper Raïs M'Bolhi. Mikel Obi increased the 1:0 lead in 42th minutes to a 2:0 lead just in three minutes to half time break.
Nabil Bentaleb of Algeria gave the Algeria team hope with a brilliant finish in the 67th minutes. Victor Moses increased the 2:1 lead to a 3:1 lead who got a through pass from Ahmed Musa who came in as a substitute.
